1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe, 327 Powerglide, no reserve at $22,000
No-reserve RS with its 327 and a mostly original interior; good resto-mod base if bidding stays sane.
1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS
Sold Why we picked it
This 1967 Camaro RS coupe has a 327 V8 and a 2-speed Powerglide. The seller says the engine date code matches the car. It was refinished in Bolero Red (originally Ermine White), and the interior is mostly original with some wear. Other changes are chrome valve covers, a GM high-rise intake and an R134A air conditioning conversion. It has a clean Texas title and the seller has owned it since 2004.
It is selling with no reserve. The bid was $22,000 with 15 bids and 5 days left. Similar first-gen driver cars have sold for roughly $29,000 to $50,500 recently, but bids usually climb near the end, so set a firm limit.
The value check
When we found it, the bid was $25,001. Comparable cars in the same condition have sold for $29,000–$50,500, so the middle of the market is about $39,750. That put this car 37% under.
First-gen Camaro coupes in similar driver condition sold for $29,000-$50,500 in July-August 2026 (Hemmings, Hagerty, BaT); the $22,000 bid is about 45% under the $39,750 midpoint, with no reserve and 5 days left.

What to check
- Check floor pans, trunk floor, lower quarter panels and the rear frame rails/leaf spring mounts for rust
- Look at the cowl and windshield channel; leaks there rot the floors and the heater box area
- Subframe-to-body bushings and front subframe alignment are often tired on 50+ year-old cars
- Color change from Ermine White: inspect door jambs, trunk and under-hood for paint quality and old damage
- Confirm the RS hideaway headlight doors work and the trim tag/VIN decoding shown in the listing
- Clock is not working per the seller
Making it drive like new
A good path is a Powerglide swap to a 4L60E or 700R4 overdrive, a bolt-in front subframe or coilover kit with tubular arms, a 4-link or multi-leaf rear with a 12-bolt or 9-inch, four-wheel disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering and modern seat belts. Keeping the 327 dressed as-is with EFI would preserve the period look.
