1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible with an Offenhauser-headed flathead, 23 years with one owner
An older restored '41 Ford convertible that runs and drives. The bid is early, and these usually finish in the $20,000s.
1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible
Sold Why we picked it
Why we picked it: open 1941 Fords are a classic base for a mild hot rod, and this one has been with the same owner for 23 years. The flathead V8 has Offenhauser finned aluminum heads, two 2-barrel carburetors, an electric fan and dual exhaust. The car also has a 12-volt conversion and a power white top over a red interior. The listing says it has a clean Maryland title in the seller's name, and the seller says it runs and drives well.
The bid is $4,100 with 9 days to go. Recent '41 Super Deluxe convertibles have sold for $22,400 to $28,000, so even a strong finish could leave room. Bidding on these usually jumps in the last day, so decide your number in advance.
The value check
When we found it, the bid was $8,550. Comparable cars in the same condition have sold for $22,400–$28,000, so the middle of the market is about $25,200. That put this car 66% under.

What to check
- This is an older restoration with dents and dings, paint scratches, a top coming unglued in places, and interior wear.
- The leading '1' of the frame serial number is hard to read. Confirm that the frame number matches the title before you bid.
- Rust is not mentioned. On '41 Fords, look at the lower doors, the rear fender and running-board mounts, the trunk floor, and the X-member frame.
- The engine was rebuilt about 20 years ago and has done about 1,800 miles since. Ask for a compression test and check for overheating.
- Reserve status is not shown on the page. The mileage is TMU (true mileage unknown).
Making it drive like new
For a mild upgrade that keeps the look, add a front disc brake kit with a dual master cylinder, a column-drop and seat-belt package, and a Borg-Warner overdrive or a 5-speed behind the flathead. Radial tires with the right offset make a big difference to how these drive.

How it ended
It sold for $16,050 on Oct 22, 2026, against a market value of about $25,200 when we found it.
