Upgrade your Ride / Suspension

Suspension for the 1967–72 K10 4x4 pickup

Coilovers, control arms, shocks and rear links. Kits made for your car first, then universal parts that fit most cars, and every maker we track.

What it is

Everything between the body and the wheels that sets how a car rides and handles: coilover or modern shock and spring packages, tubular control arms with better geometry, sway bars, bushings, and rear-axle locating systems such as 4-links, three-links and leaf-spring upgrades. Complete kits bundle the front and rear for one car; you can also buy each piece on its own.

Why it matters

Factory suspension on most classics was soft, worn and built around bias-ply tires. Modern geometry and dampers keep the tires flat on the road, so the car turns in, stops straight and rides better at the same time. It's what lets wider modern tires and bigger brakes actually work, and fresh bushings and shocks alone transform an old car. If you're replacing the whole chassis, most of this comes with it; if you're keeping the original, this is where the handling comes from.
