What it is

An aluminum radiator sized for your engine, electric fans with a shroud and a controller, and the hoses and overflow tank that go with them. Combo units arrive with the radiator, fans and shroud already assembled.

Why it matters

Factory radiators and belt-driven fans were sized for engines making less power, in cars that rarely sat in traffic. A swapped engine and an A/C condenser both add heat. A modern radiator and electric fans keep the temperature steady at idle and in summer traffic, and they take a little load off the engine.
