1968–74 Nova chassis stiffening
3 kits to stiffen the body shell, from frame rails and connectors to braces and roll bars.
- How it's built
- Unibody with a bolt-on, rubber-isolated front subframe (shares the 1967-69 F-body subframe design)
- Weak spots
- Same weakness as the 1st-gen Camaro: the subframe-to-unibody joint flexes and there are no rails tying front to rear. Mono-leaf wheel hop and soft bushings limit grip.
