1962–67 Chevy II / Nova chassis stiffening
4 kits to stiffen the body shell, from frame rails and connectors to braces and roll bars.
- How it's built
- Unibody with a bolt-on front-end assembly/stub frame carrying the front crossmember
- Weak spots
- It was a light economy shell: the bolted front structure and spring towers feed loads into the inner fenders, and no rails tie front to rear. Mono-leaf springs wheel-hop badly once a V8 is added.
