1960–65 Falcon & Comet chassis stiffening
6 kits to stiffen the body shell, from frame rails and connectors to braces and roll bars.
- How it's built
- Unibody with welded-in front frame rails (Mustang's direct ancestor)
- Weak spots
- The light unibody, built for an economy six, twists badly with V8 torque, and the towers and floors flex. Early cars have 4-lug hubs, small brakes and slow, vague steering.
