Front suspension: SLA A-arms with ball joints and coil springs; Saginaw recirculating-ball steering with linkage-assist power
Rear suspension: Independent: transverse leaf spring (composite mono-leaf on some 1981-82), half-shafts as upper links, trailing arms, strut rods
Weak spots: T-tops and convertibles flex, and the birdcage rusts. Trailing-arm and strut-rod bushings allow rear toe and camber change, the steering is slow, and the cars are heavy for their grip.
