Starting prices aren't always comparable. Some include suspension, steering and brakes; some are a bare frame or front clip and the rest is extra. Check the Front and Rear columns and each product's notes before comparing totals. "Price on request" means the builder quotes each build. Upgrade the original chassis

How it's built: Body-on-frame perimeter frame, partly boxed with open-channel sections (convertibles used a stronger boxed frame)
Front suspension: SLA A-arms with coil springs; Saginaw recirculating-ball steering
Rear suspension: Live axle with 4-link (two lower trailing arms, two angled upper arms) and coil springs
Weak spots: The rear upper-arm frame mounts and the open-channel rails flex and crack under traction. Soft rubber bushings and body mounts, plus poor camber gain, give a vague, floaty ride.
